Day 1  we transport you from CDG airport to Château RiveSarthe       7:00PM  dinner at RiveSarthe (RS)

Day 2   9:30AM  tour of Faiencerie (fine pottery) producer         www.faiencerie-malicorne.com                  
11:00AM   leave for La Fleche and Market Day, lunch at Le Moulin des Quatre Seasons on the Loir River
3:30PM   arrive back at RiveSarthe,   dinner at RS

Day 3   visit to the Loire Valley chateaus of Azay le Rideau and Villandry; wine tasting; dinner at RS

Day 7  free day    optional trip by TGV to Paris for €180: Le Louvre, Le Musee d'Orsay, etc
dinner for all at RiveSarthe

Day 8    8:00AM  leave for Chartres Cathedral      www.chathedraldechartres.fr     10:30AM tour of the
cathedral with guide Malcolm Miller    lunch in Chartres    stop at a memorial to American pilots
dinner at RiveSarthe with Mr. Auduc sharing his memoirs, the youngest Resistance fighter to be
presented the Legion of Honor by General Charles de Gaulle and the Medal of Freedom by General
Dwight D. Eisenhower. Mr. Auduc is 84 and if unavailable, a film of his presentation will be shown.

Day 9  lunch outdoors at La Port au Roche on the banks of the Loir River;  tour of the 15th century half
beamed houses of Le Mans; cheese and wine tasting dinner at RiveSarthe

Day 10  8:00AM  leave for the Loire Valley      visit to Chateau Chenonceau and lunch there  
tour of Chateau Amboise       Vouvray wine tasting at a local winery      snack at RiveSarthe  

Day 11  free day  (Optional French cooking class €35, minimum 3)    walk to lunch at La Petit Auberge;
dinner at RiveSarthe

Day 12   transport to CDG airport, arriving before noon
